Ever since I bought my newish tablet, I’ve read/reread three books over the course of a week and a half
If you’d like to read the best children’s series of all time, here’s the beginning.
Today we purchased some architectural supplies for the scale model house I’m doing with my father, but before that we got sidetracked when I suddenly remembered that the MV Logos Hope (the so called largest floating book fair) was still docked in the pier.
We arrived there after lunch. There was a bearable line and it was packed inside. I had to wrestle my way to and fro the different sections of the fair. I had thought of buying a Norse mythology book, but there was none; I was not very familiar with majority of the titles in there, so I just picked out whatever book had an interesting back flap. We had a receipt of 1050 units (US$24 estimate) for four books, which was a pretty good deal. When we left an hour later, the line was quadruple the size (no joke) and we kept telling ourselves that we were very lucky.
“Not an average Sunday afternoon,” my dad said.
I would have taken pictures but this whole thing was unexpected, so maybe the tote bag, brochure, and badge are enough for those “pics or it didn’t happen” kind of people. Also, above this post are the two books that caught the eyes of my brother and I… Though there was one entitled “Legends of the West” that I wanted to purchase but I had insufficient funds, but my brother’s going back there again so maybe I can ask him to buy it for me.
Goddamn rain destroyed the spine of my new book in my bag. I had this big ass umbrella covering me already, so how the fuck did the water seep in?

My uncle went to the United States for his photo walk. I saw this as a window of opportunity to get back on my video game related reading (local stores here did not have these). I repaid him when he arrived home. I thank him dearly for the time and effort he took to find these books for me.
I’d seen plenty comments on Bowden’s works, and they were not pretty. Though, I bought some of his books just to see/read them for myself. If they are as bad as the AC community said, it’s all right; I’d rather read than go on senseless trips my classmates have planned.
Anyway, happy reading to everyone!
